Your personal data

What we need

The Cupcake Factory, owned by Natalie Roberts (known as “controller” of the personal data provided to me). I will only collect basic personal data from you which does not include any special types of information. This will include your name, email address and phone number.

Why I need it

I need to know your basic personal data in order to contact you about your requirements or other matters in relation to your order. I will not collect any unnecessary personal data in order to fulfil my services to you. 

What I do with it

All the personal data I collect is processed by myself, Natalie Roberts and will not be shared with any 3rd party organisations , other than those lawfully required. Your information will be stored securely in a password protected environment. 

How long I keep it

I am required by UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name and contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which it will be destroyed. 

What are your rights

If you believe the information I process on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and even have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data you can email me and I will investigate further. 

If you are not satisfied with my response or believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO)..
